I bought a skein of beautiful Shokay Shambala yarn when I was in Boston a couple of months ago. There was an interesting looking hat pattern called Koolhaas using this yarn, so I knit up the pattern and here it is:

Well, any time I put it on, people have to control themselves from howling with laughter. You see… it makes one look like they have a pineapple glommed onto their head. So far only one (yes, one) person has managed not to giggle, snort, snerk, or otherwise chortle with malicious glee once I put it on.

I think he needed to put his glasses on first.
