I want every single one of those ‘my morals are too high to provide you with medical care’ pinheads to have to experience the same kind of idiocy they promulgate elsewhere in their own lives.
Drive 1 mile over the speed limit? Sorry sir, my MORALS are too high to let this pass, I’ll have to give you a ticket.
Want to have a pork chop today? Sorry - you’ll have to drive to another store, it’s against my RELIGION to sell you pork.
You know what I mean? There’s a mean, small-minded part of me that wants those narrow-minded, pig-headed, holier-than-thou, slimy, squirming, indecent morons to feel just a little what it’s like to truly be persecuted. In a small way.

Oh, there's just a petition to make it illegal for minors to get an abortion without their parent's consent here in AK. They're trying to get enough signatures.
It's great unless the parent is abusive. Then it's horrible.
Then right after that I read about other (federal) senators who are trying to justify denying rape victims the morning after pill.... which is just contraception, NOT an abortion.
That's just plain evil, and it's disgusting to me that people try to say it's because of their religious values when I can read just as well as them and know it's a falsehood.

About this petition... the parents want to control their girl children, (and only the girls), after they are pregnant. They had no control before that.

I'm pretty disgusted by the petition. The thing is I can understand the position of a lot of the conscientious parents who would agree with this bill, and yes it is about control.
The problem is that for the very few girls who don't tell their parents there's often a very good reason.
I realize it's just another attack on abortion - chipping away at womens' rights - but the implications are just so bad.
But hey - Alles in Ordnung - right?
