Purely Whimsical

Apologies for the long break. I got pretty busy at work, and there were some other life issues going on, so I didn’t really have much time to myself, much less write here.

This weekend I will be at the semi-annual fiber retreat in Wasilla. I’m really looking forward to it. I haven’t been spinning as much as I like.

I did take a spinning class last Saturday with Galina Alexandrovna Khmeleva using a russian lace spindle. It was very interesting, but I really don’t think that it’s a technique I will enjoy in the long term.
