Sometimes I wonder

About what to write here. It’s not like I don’t have a lot of rants, but most of my rants have to do with political and religious matters. I really don’t like alienating people if I can help it, and it’s SO easy to take both of those things far too personally, since rants pretty much depend on painting fairly broad strokes and generalizations. And as we all know, most people as an individual don’t fit into generalizations.

So I don’t write some of the things that pop into my head, because I really don’t want my friends and family to think that I believe that they fit into some of the probably really weird ideas I have about politics and religion.

Oh yeah, and as anyone who knows me knows, I don’t have the funny. I may be funny, but I’m not funny as a general rule. Sad, I know.

Aunt MelissaI love your rants. I feel more like I am human when I read your rants. I have a lot of things that bother me and it is nice to know someone else struggles with many of the same issues. Ha.
