Purely Whimsical

Read it in a Harry Dresden book (Small Favors).

I like it just about as much as “Camazotz Neighborhood” (identical houses filling the block), from A Swiftly Tilting Planet.

I must say that I love wikipedia sometimes. I just learned that Camazotz was a Mayan bat god, possibly based off of the vampire bats in the area, and is predictably enough associated with blood, death, and sacrifice.
