Purely Whimsical

I’m not sure what I had, but it was bad. It really sucked being really, really ill in a hotel room, and trying to work too. On Wednesday, I finally just checked out and got a direct flight back from Oregon to Anchorage. I spent most of the day sleeping in the airport, then slept most of the plane trip.

I forgot my decongestant on the way down though, and have had ear problems since. I looked so wonky when I went to the ER after the plane flight that they threw some antibiotics at me. Something worked. Probably the sleeping most of all.

A sore throat and cough are a fearsome combination, and I hope I never get them together again!

I wish I could have seen more of Portland. It looks like a fun city. I was surprised though, I had at least 3 people in one day stop me to ask for directions. I must have looked like I knew where I was. HA!
